RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Development and maintenance of browser based games and applications;
• Maintenance of existing browser based games.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of professional experience with PHP and MySQL;
• Experience and good understanding of OOP and PHP5;
• High level of expertise in SQL/MySQL. Ability to develop and maintain complex and efficient relational databases;
• Skills in XML, HTML/XHTML, CSS;
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, DOM and AJAX technologies;
• Track record in JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as prototype, YUI and jQuery;
• Fluency in English.
The following skills will be considered as an advantage:
• Usage of version control systems;
• Experience with Smarty template engine;
• Track record in optimization techniques (caching, compression, etc.);
• Previous work with PHP frameworks such as CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony Framework;
• Experience with SOAP and WebServices;
• Practice in Linux environment;
• Administration of Apache/ Lighttpd/ MySQL servers.
