SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER
The successful candidate will have very good Java experience gained throughout the full development lifecycle. In this role
you will need both a strong technical knowledge and a customer’s focus.
Key features of the role:
• To make architect and of design new products and extensions to existing products
• To participate in the development and maintenance of various software products
• To read and write software requirements and design specifications
• To manage a small team of software engineers if you are interested in professional growth as a manager
Key Requirements for the role:
• Experience in Java and J2EE
• Solid background with SQL. JDBC is a requirement. Note: In addition, experience with Oracle would be helpful
• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Good understanding of the typical web application functioning and structure
• Good understanding of the typical client-side (fat client, rich UI) application model - specifically, client-server. Strong
customer focus
• Ability to work as part of a focused, technical team
• Time management and excellent organizational skills
Advantages:
• Experience of using Hibernate and/or JPA is a plus
• Good knowledge in Swing is a plus. Knowledge in SWT/JFace/Eclipse and native UI technolo¬gies (e.g.
C/C++/Win32/Unix) is a plus
