For its subsidiaries our client would like to attract :
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (ORACLE ORIENTED)
Your role will include:
Oracle Administrator will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the system layers and of the Oracle databases within the Internal and Customer Landscapes, according to internal methodologies and standardized administration processes. This specialist will also manage the SAN environments and is responsible for monitoring storage evolution and data integrity.
Main activities:
Monitoring of Databases and standard operations of databases;
Monitoring of application components associated;
Proactive run to reduce exposure to outages and performance bottlenecks
Incident resolution and tickets escalation to technical solution architects
Incident escalation to Hardware maintenance provider for servers issue resolution
Storage monitoring, performance follow-up and capacity planning
System maintenance and periodic patching of systems
Main requirements:
Previous experience on Oracle, including version 9i and 10g
Knowledge on Standby implementations, Oracle failsafe, RAC
Good system background on Windows 2003, including MSCS cluster administration
Good system background on Unix ( Solaris, HP-UX); Linux
Very good command of English language
Knowledge on HP Business Availability Center and Sitescope would be advantage
