The 'Installed Base Maintenance and Support' Organization (IMS) is responsible for the maintenance and support of SAP's product suite owning products which are in mass shipment.The System Landscape Directory IMS Team acts as a trusted advisor for any kind of SAP NetWeaver matters both for customers and internal SAP® stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyze, evaluate and resolve customer issues related to the implementation and operation of the System Landscape Directory, including integration of third-party components.
• Maintain assigned modules of SAP WEB AS Java, create fixes and develop new features when necessary
• Communicate with customers in a considerate and professional manner, clearly and politely providing highly valued remote services that enable customers to implement and operate the solutions at their maximum potential
• Cooperate with other support groups/installed base development groups from different levels, providing and receiving knowledge transfer
• Participate in building up a knowledge base to improve the problem resolution process
• Develop support tools proactively and reactively
• Constantly acquire new knowledge and skills and put them into practice
REQUIREMENTS:
• University degree in Computer Science or related
• Excellent programming skills in Java (Java EE is a plus)
• Verbal and written fluency in English
• Strong ability to monitor, understand and analyze large scale systems and infrastructures
• Creativity and flexibility when supporting complex customer solutions
• Highly dependable, self-reliant and teamwork-oriented individual
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with any of the following will be considered as an advantage:
- software customer support and maintenance
- knowledge in C/ C++, ABAP
- Operating Systems (Windows, Unix/Linux)
- Databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
- XML, Web services
- Client-server technologies, Java IDEs
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a developer.
