TECHNICAL WRITER
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with technical teams, documentation manager and geographically dispersed team members to develop, review, and distribute documentation
• Researches and determines documentation needs for product features and product fixes
• Works in an Agile development environment
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of experience in a technical writer position or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate equally well with technical and non-technical individuals
• Experience planning and leading major documentation projects from start to finish.
• Background in desktop publishing, XML authoring, or online tools.
• Preferred experience with DITA XML, FrameMaker, and XMetaL
