SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (USER INTERFACE EXPERIENCE)
The requirements for the position include:
- At least 5 years of experience developing and debugging Java applications
- 3 + years of experience expertise developing User Interfaces with a Java based technology(development of an Enterprise class application using Gwt or Gxt or Java Swing
-Very good understanding of the full product development lifecycle (design, development and testing)
- Strong understanding of object oriented design principles
- Strong understanding of multithreated and database programming in Java environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Java Swing
- Automated test development, test driven development knowledge
- Minimum 1 year of experience with GWT/GXT
- Previous experience with Source Code tools such as Subversion
- Possibility for delivering mission critical, enterprise web application products (Saas application development a plus)
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and automated unit testing with a high level of code coverage
- Advanced level of English language
We’ll consider as advantages:
- Good level of German language
The responsibilities for the position include:
- Design, develop and unit test key product functionality
- Work closely and effectively with the Team Leader and Product Owner
- Follow and extend the development practices and methodologies adopted by the company to ensure delivery of high quality enterprise software
- Write Functional and Technical specifications for new features using the existing guidelines
- Develop automated tests for all features covering critical code paths and use cases
