Requirements:
• Expert knowledge Java building custom server applications in the Linux environment. Specifically this is NOT J2EE environments such as Web Sphere.
• Strong XML, XML Schemas and XSLT
• Knowledge of object-oriented design skills and design patterns.
• Experience with Web Services experience in Java (SOAP/WSDL, Tomcat and Axis)
• Linux experience
• Pluses
- Knowledge of C++
- Knowledge of ODBC, JDBC
- Experience with Open Source databases such as PostgreSQ and MySQL
- Experience with Development tools such as IntelliJ, XMLSpy, SoapScope
- Knowledge object modeling paradigms such as UML a plus.
- Experience with JSP
- Experience with FAST
- Experience with Lucene (open source search engine)
- Experience with Inxight APIs such as ThingFinder and ThingFinder Pro.
