Senior Software Engineer (Team Leader)

"StreamingVideoProvider":http://www.streamingvideoprovider.co.uk seeks to employ an experienced professional. Prospective candidate would be proactive person with adequate web development experience, good communication skills and problem solving oriented mind.
Responsibilities will include:
Research and Development of existing PHP/MySQL based proprietary framework
Design and Development of new services and solutions as well technical support and maintenance for existing ones.
Project management and team leadership activities
You should meet the following requirements:
* Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts
* 3+ years of web development experience.
* Candidate must excel in at least one of the following server side web platforms PHP/J2EE/ASP.NET and have good knowledge of PHP. PHP is our platform of choice.
* Strong understanding and experience in OOP
* Strong understanding of xml web services concepts
* Strong understanding of algorithm design and complexity
* Good knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript
* Written English language proficiency
The (+) plus list:
+ Experience with interactive flash programming
+ Experience with internet video solutions
+ Experience with application scaling problems
+ Experience with PHP optimization and caching engines
+ Experience with load balancing engines
+ Experience with web-based collaborative and project management solutions
+ Experience with QA practices
+ Unix/Linux server management experience
Human skills:
* Proactive person with positive attitude!
* Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills as it is a team leader position
* Fluent knowledge of English (spoken/written)
