The Position:
This position requires a PHP developer, capable of making significant contributions throughout the development lifecycle. The PHP Developer will participate in requirements gathering, web development, deployment practices and evaluation of emerging technologies for one or more of the company’s core products.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience
• Good command of English language (spoken and written)
• Experience with object oriented PHP5 and reusable components
• Security aware development
• Strong knowledge in Web usability
• Experience with Web servers (Apache) and RDBMS (MySQL)
• Experience with (X)HTML, CSS, DHTML. AJAX and Java Script
• Ability and willingness to work in a team, good analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to study and advance in the new technologies and actively participate in the knowledge-sharing within the company
Advantages:
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Zend Framework)
• Experience with Java Script frameworks (DOJO, jQuery, ExtJS)
• Experience with Web services and RESTful applications
• Linux/Apache/PHP/MySQL configuration and administration in production environment
• Experience with QA practices and Unit testing.
• Experience with profiling/optimization/scalability
• Subversion experience
Primary Responsibilities include:
• Work with highly motivated team in a fast growing developing environment.
• Development support for legacy systems.
• Implementing new cutting edge features and applications that include both backend and frontend activities.
• Take active part in development cycle and discussions.
