Requirenments
- At least 2 years of experience in the field and at least 1 year in debian administration - experience in administration production web servers under high load
- Very good knowledge of Debian Linux
- Very good knowledge of Internet security
- Perl and bash and sh scripting
- Good communication skills
- Abillity to react in emergency situations (if needed out of the office hours)
- Good level of spoken and written english
Responsibilities
- Administration and monitoring of 6-10 remote debian servers with postgresql, apache 1.3/2, mod_perl, ldap, ssl, etc.
- Installation of similar new servers following a standard procedure
- Working 4 or 8 hours a day with posibility of overtime in critical situations
- Solving stability and performance issues
- Constant optimisation and improvement of the current server infrastructure
We offer a friendly working environment in an office in the center of the city in a small dedicated team that is working for an Austrian company. Flexible working time except in cases of emergencies.
